WHAT IS PAASISAVUT?
Paasisavut is Arctic Hub's research dissemination competition for PhDs who are engaged in research in and around Greenland.
The winner is the one who, in just five minutes, manages to convey one's research in a simple, catchy and relevant way without compromising on the scientific.
The competition will take place at a live show in Katuaq, Nuuk, on 13 November 2026 and will also be broadcast live on KNR TV.

Are you passionate about communicating the research in your PhD project to a wide audience?
Do you also have a great competitive gene?
And the courage to present your research in just 5 minutes in front of a panel of judges and a live audience?
Then Paasisavut is definitely something for you.
Participating in Paasiavut offers a unique platform for you to share your research with the entire population of Greenland.
From the stage, you get the chance to reach all those seated in the hall as well as everyone watching the show from their living rooms.
But fear not. Before you step onto the stage, you will be thoroughly coached, assisted, and advised on how to most effectively ignite interest and convey the unique essence of your research.
